Issuance of our SECOND 'Endangered Wildlife’ Coin

The second release in our Endangered Wildlife coin collection series features the Bornean orangutan that is native to the island of Borneo. The Bornean orangutan also known by its scientific name, Pongo pygmaeus is a critically endangered species with a population of about 105,000 remaining.

On the reverse of the coin, it depicts a mother orangutan cuddling her adorable baby in her arms. This scene is mirrored on the coin with a proof finish background to highlight the beauty of its design and finishing.

On the obverse, it depicts an orangutan handprint which is highly similar to Homo sapiens. Our motto “TRULY SECURE YOUR WEALTH” is also seen encircling the coin together with the year of issue, metal content, weight and purity.

A premium wooden box lined with velvet and a certificate of authenticity will be included for each coin purchased.

With an extremely limited mintage of only 600 coins worldwide, this would make an ideal gift for someone who is passionate about endangered wildlife and also serves as a reminder of how critically endangered our “closest living relatives” are.
